A-B-Z-T-E-F-G

Partially watching the senate hearing yesterday regarding the very controversial ZTE contract got me involved again with politics. It was a hodge-podge of comments from the senators, both pro and anti-government. But what really struck me were some questions and answers that really stirred my curiosity, woke up my temper and tickled my funny bones, as well.

“Sec, my 200 ka dito.”

Sec. Romulo Neri claimed being offered by Chairman Abalos of offering him a bribe of 200 for the ZTE contract. It all happened while they were in a golf cart at Wack Wack. It was not specified whether it was 200 pesos, 200 thousand pesos or 200 million pesos. But of course, it was 200 million pesos with reference to the 329 million dollar ZTE contractt. Imagine, a kickback worth 200 million pesos? And who is giving offering the kickback? What the hell is Mr. Abalos’ concern about this IT project where in fact he is supposed to be fixing his backyard there at the COMELEC? Talaga naman oh. Pag pera na ang pinag-uusapan, kahit hindi mo na dapat pakialaman eh pakikialaman mo makakuha ka lang ng kickback!Shit.

“Your honors, how could I comment where in fact even he (Mr. Neri) does not know what he is saying? Whether its 200 pesos, 200,000 pesos or 200 million pesos?”

Ah, hello! Mr.Abalos, you did not answer the question. The question was, “Is this true Mr. Chairman, that you offered Mr. Romulo Neri 200 million pesos?” It is so obvious that Mr. Abalos is lying. If it was not true, then he should have given a firm NO. But what he gave was a stupid explanation hoping to counterattack Mr. Neri with his confession that was I should say, was a bit ambiguous in reality. According to Mr. Neri, knowing the magnitude of the project, it was surely not 200 pesos nor 200,000 pesos. So it was definitely 200,000,000 pesos!!! Shit!

“Mr. Chairman, who is your travel agent?”

“I don’t have a travel agent, your honor.”

“I would like to be your travel agent because you travel a lot…”

What an ice breaker from Sen. Jamby Madrigal. She wants to be Mr. Abalos’ travel agent because of his numerous trips to China (mostly via Hong Kong). And yet he vehemently denies that he has something to do with the ZTE contract which ironically was approved by Mr. Neri with the blessings of PGMA. So why travel a lot to China? Why was he always seen with the ZTE people and was even offering bribes? You connect the dots.
I thought Mr. Neri was offered a bribe of 200,000,000 pesos which he claimed he did not accept? So why all of a sudden he approved this very anomalous contract? FYI, PGMA knows about the bribe of Mr. Abalos where she even instructed Mr. Neri NOT TO ACCEPT. Hmmm. And if I understood it right, the ZTE contract actually opposed all the guidelines set by PGMA herself, in approving this NBN (National Broadband Network) Project.

So the main question now is, what happened in between? But too bad for the Blue Ribbon Committee because Mr. Neri invoked his Executive Privilege not to speak further about his conversations with PGMA regarding the ZTE Contract. Is he hiding something? Obviously, he IS protecting HIS president for further damages. Well, it only made the people thing more that there IS REALLY something fishy about this ZTE contract. Thanks to you Mr. Neri for stirring up our curiosity and putting the pieces of the puzzle together because of the chunk of information left by your silence. But at least, you admitted the bribery of Mr. Abalos which corroborated the statement given by Mr. Joey De Venecia III that he too was bribed just to “back-off” his proposals for the said project. But Joey’s was not PhP 200,000,000, it was only PhP 10,000,000. What the hell! It IS still bribery and where will they get that money? Again, in the pockets of all tax payers in this country! @#*%!

This issue is becoming really interesting to me and I guess to many Pinoys out there. Why? Because this is hardcore corruption! These people do not know to be discreet in their actions, kaya kayo napaghahalata eh! Wala kayong pinagiba kay Erap. Baket hindi nyo gayahin si former persident Ramos? Malinis ang gawa. Hahaha.

It really made me laugh when I heard this alphabet song, “A-B-Z-T-E-F-G” at Tambalang Failon at Sanchez this morning. Is this the new version of the alphabet?!

I hope NOT!

By the way, while I was writing this post, I was also reading ederic’s blog where I heard for the first time the AB-ZTE-FG ringing tone made by TXTpower.orgĀ

Mga Pinoys talaga ang bibilis sa kalokohan, hahaha! Mabuhay ang matitinong Pilipino!
